Image celebrates ‘Witchblade’ #25 with line-wide team-up variant covers
Image Comics and Top Cow Productions are celebrating Witchblade (2024) #25 with a line-wide series of special variant covers arriving this September.
The crossover-inspired initiative places Sara Pezzini and the Witchblade mythology on the covers of several of Image’s most popular ongoing titles, with an all-star lineup of artists putting their own spin on the iconic franchise.
The celebration comes as Marguerite Bennett and Giuseppe Cafaro’s current Witchblade run continues to reinvent the series for a new generation. Originally debuting in 1995, Witchblade became one of Top Cow’s signature series, later spawning both a live-action television series and an anime adaptation. The current series has reintroduced the franchise with a modernized origin while honoring the characters and mythology that made it a defining title of the ’90s comics boom.
